Introducing Smarter Integration: fully managed integration, no upfront licence
Smarter Integration is W3 Partnership’s own integration runtime, hosted on AWS with no third-party iPaaS licence underneath. We connect every system in your business — CRM, ERP, HRIS, finance, cloud applications, partners and legacy — into one integration layer that W3P designs, builds, runs and maintains for you.
Why we built it
W3 Partnership was founded in 2007. After years of watching enterprise integration programmes fail for three predictable reasons, we built Smarter Integration in 2017:
- Too slow. 12–18 month implementations are the norm; business cases evaporate while integration teams write code.
- Too costly upfront. Six-figure annual licences before a single integration ships, with specialists and maintenance stacking year on year.
- Self-configuration that fails. Sold as low-code tools the client configures, but in practice it needs scarce specialists and the platform sits half-built.
Five operating models — and we are the fifth
Every integration buyer is choosing one of five models, knowingly or not: traditional iPaaS, “low-code” iPaaS, a managed-service partner reselling someone else’s licence, an in-house build, or a genuinely managed integration service. The first four all leave you running the platform.
What makes it different
- 2–4× faster — implementation in 3–6 months rather than 12–18.
- Typically 4× lower total cost of ownership — no licence model; we charge when the service is live.
- Fully managed — no iPaaS skills required in-house.
- UK Government approved supplier — ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and Cyber Essentials certified.
- Privately held UK company — no private-equity owner driving revenue at any cost.

Frequently asked questions
What is Smarter Integration?
Smarter Integration is W3 Partnership’s fully managed iPaaS (iPaaS++) — our own integration runtime hosted on AWS, with no third-party licence underneath. We design, build, run and maintain the integration layer that connects your systems, delivered as a service rather than sold as software.
How is it priced?
There is no upfront software licence. You pay a monthly subscription, charged from the point the service goes live — so you are not paying for a platform while it is still being built.
